LFCD is celebrating after the Year 11 students received an excellent crop of GCSEs – in fact the results are the best the school has ever achieved!
The young people have had many challenges to face, notably the disruption to their education during the pandemic five years ago, when they were in their final year of primary school.
Students at Landau have achieved an incredible set of results, with 65% of students achieving grades 5-9 in English and Maths and 84% of students achieving grades 9-4 in English and Maths, significantly above national averages.
The notable achievements are:
Poppy Shardlow achieved seven grade 9s and three grade 8s
Luca Toma achieved five grade 9s, one grade 8 and three grade 7s
Abishua Singha achieved three grade 9s, six grade 8s and one grade 7
Gracie Antill achieved three grade 9s, three grade 8s and four grade 7s
Maya Ruszel achieved three grade 9s, four grade 8s and two grade 7s
