Last week all Year 10 students successfully completed their work experience placements in businesses in Derby and beyond! Work experience is so important to our young people, it develops key skills such as communication, resilience and team work and builds maturity, independence and self confidence. Students participated in placements in a variety of exciting settings including education, engineering, digital media, health and the arts. The feedback received by this group of young people has been incredible, employers have shared that our students were self motivated, hard working, independent and dedicated to their roles.
A brilliant example of a successful placement is Isla who completed her work experience placement at The Digital Maze.
