Thank you to staff from Derbyshire Fire and Rescue who attended LFCD to deliver gatherings to students on the importance of staying safe around water. Due to the hot weather, LFCD has had a specific focus on the topic of water safety.
Students were told about the impacts of cold water shock, the strategy of ‘float to live’ and had the opportunity to ask questions of the DFR staff.
