LFCD is again celebrating after the Year 11 students received an outstanding set of GCSE results. Staff have gone above and beyond to ensure their students were as prepared as possible for their GCSE examinations. Expert subject teachers and the dedicated pastoral team worked tirelessly to ensure all groups of students achieved exceptionally well.
The notable achievements at Landau Forte College Derby are:
Hitha Prasad, achieving seven grade 9s and three grade 8s
Ujjwal Macha, achieving six grade 9s, three grade 8s and one grade 7
Lucas Castillo-Oliveira, achieving six grade 9s, two grade 8s and two grade 7s
Jake Stubbings, achieving four grade 9s, four grade 8s, one grade 7 and a Merit level 2
Alison Brannick, Principal, said: “These are brilliant results – we are extremely proud of all our students.
“We’re excited to welcome many of our students back into our Sixth Form, and we look forward to seeing all of them flourish as they move on to the next stage of their journeys.
“Our amazing staff team were recognised in national teaching awards earlier this year and I would like to thank them all very much, for their relentless commitment to make sure all our students have had outstanding opportunities and support throughout their time at school.”
