You may have received comments about the legibility of your handwriting by parents/carers or your Learning Tutors. Handwriting is extremely important. Not only does it give impressions about the effort you have put into a piece of work, it also needs to be easily read by examiners. Use of technology may mean that you do not write frequently which can decrease the speed of your writing. It is important that you regularly practise writing for extended periods of time (this may include homework but also include any written activity such as keeping a diary); the more you practise, the greater the improvement will be. Please use the booklet below for support. Your Personal Tutor will also be able to provide you with hard copies and support. Good luck and don’t give up!
