We have our own distinctive culture and ethos, the
cornerstone of which is the high quality pastoral care
all our students experience. We know our sixth formers
as individuals and understand their strengths and
areas for development. Tutors support our students
every step of the way throughout their two years here,
including helping them navigate the process of applying
to university.
We aim to enrich our students’ learning experiences
by ensuring they all have the opportunity to immerse
themselves in activities that they may not ordinarily
have access to. Such opportunities can only further
develop our young people. In today’s competitive
society, we want to prepare Landau Forte College sixth
formers to be able to confidently compete with the top
graduates in the UK and beyond.
Landau Forte College sixth form has a range of
established partnerships with business and industry,
which bring the world of work securely into the
educational experience. Our students have several
opportunities to complete meaningful periods of work
experience and have access to high quality independent
information, advice and guidance in relation to careers
education. .
Students are offered the opportunity to participate in a
wide range of residential and day visits to further enrich
their curriculum.

• Ski visits to Italy;
• Visiting CERN (the largest particle physics laboratory in
the world) in Switzerland;
• Participating in sports tournaments in southern Spain;
• Competing in local and national mathematics and
language challenge events;
• Regular visits to Russell Group universities;
• Visits to and from leading industry figures;
• Trips to local and national theatres including
the Royal Ballet;
• Residential visits to outdoor activity centres.
