Landau Forte College is proud of its superb track
record of inclusion for all. The personalised
support we provide to our students with special
educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
enables them to develop as independent and
confident learners who play a full and important
role in the life of the College.
We have a dedicated suite of rooms as the
base for our inclusion team which includes
the Learning Support Unit and the Support
Centre. The area provides high quality, bespoke
support for young people with complex needs.
We passionately believe that SEND should not
prevent a young person accessing mainstream
education. Our team of highly skilled Learning
Support Assistants provide high quality in
session support across all curriculum areas.
For students to be successful learners it is vital
that they can read and comprehend the work
being studied. We provide a variety of one
to one and small group interventions for our
students whose reading age falls below their
chronological age.
