In-tents Fun!
Archery, rifle shooting, abseiling and traversing are just a few of the
many things we did onYear Ten camp. And there never seemed to be
a dull moment, as the Post-16 students even led us through some
activities and we all got to partake in games of volleyball and cricket.
We were also given the big
responsibilities on camp, such as
preparing the food and serving
to the other students. One of
the most testing activities we
did was the abseiling; testing
both our courage and allowing
us to support each other when
approaching the edge of the
cliff. An amazing facility at
the camp was the indoor cave
experience which was a test of
both strength and endurance.
All in all, it was a fantastic
experience with a lot of exciting
opportunities and activities
unique toYear 10 camp. I highly
recommend it to all Year Tens!
It is the last Enrichment Week
some students will experience
as they may leave Landau after
their GCSEs – so it is great to
know they have this experience
and really leave on a high!
