As an award winning artist
himself, he has been able
share some of his techniques,
knowledge and experiences
within the industry with the
students. Mr Hulland has
gone on to show the students
how they would work if they
were to become an artist;
each individual was given
three sets of different words
which became their brief. They
then had to go on to create
characters and several story line
ideas, which would collectively
build up a final piece.

This term Mr Hulland, the Art Team’s Technician and
Artist in Residence has been running the ‘Illustration
Workshop’ which has been supporting students of
all years with their illustrative drawing skills.
