Autumn 2015
Students and senior citizens
met each other for a coffee
afternoon and discussed
what they presently do at
Christmas and what they have
all experienced over the joyful
period in previous years.We
participated in icebreaker games
to share memories, including a
web of questions and
musical quizzes.
This is a project whereby the
students are able to personally
give back to the community
and get to know a different
generation and learn from
their experiences. Everyone
can experience the true spirit
of Christmas: giving something
to a stranger, not knowing who
they are or what they’ve gone
through. No matter how big
or small, a gift of kindness can
mean more than you know!
Artworks will be exhibited at the
Senior Citizen Christmas party
hosted at Landau Forte College
on 15 December 2015.
