One of Landau Forte College’s Sixth Form students – Paris – has made a fantastic debut playing for England Ladies’ U17 football team.
In a match at the end of 2017 at St George’s Park in Staffordshire, Paris took to the midfield as she played for the first official time with the U17s. The game was an excellent end to the year, with the England squad triumphing after a tough 90 minutes with a 2-1 win against Japan.
Paris has made an incredibly impressive start to the Sixth Form, incorporating a demanding training regime around her studies to realise her dream of playing for England. Her debut performance against Japan has not gone unnoticed. She has since been selected for forthcoming friendlies against both Germany and Austria in Barcelona, which will take place later this month.
