Year 12 Induction

After GCSE Results Day, when your offer of a place is confirmed in writing, you will receive full details of the Induction process and joining instructions.

The Induction is designed to integrate all students into Year 12 whether they are returning to College from Year 11 or are completely new. It will include various activities which will involve all of  the students to assist with the transition into Year 12. Student Council will also be on hand to support students with day to day life within College.

The Induction will start with a welcome from the Principal. There will be an opportunity for male students to purchase their ties upon arrival to the College. All students will have their photographs taken for their swipe card which will be issued during their induction along with their timetables.

Year 12 students will receive support and guidance from subject teams regarding their studies which will enable them to make a rapid and effective start to Year 12, as well as participating in activities designed to strengthen confidence and learning habits. Start and finish times will be detailed in the letter of confirmation which is issued after Results Day.
