After GCSE Results Day, when your offer of a place is confirmed in writing, you will receive full details of the Induction process and joining instructions.
The Induction is designed to integrate all students into Year 12 whether they are returning to College from Year 11 or joining us from other schools. It will include various activities which will involve all of the students to assist with the transition into Year 12.
The Induction will start with a welcome from the Principal and Assistant Principal. There will be an opportunity for male students to purchase their ties upon arrival to the College. All students will have their photographs taken for their swipe card which will be issued during their induction along with their timetables.
Year 12 students will receive an introduction to the College and the day to day life of a sixth form student including the wide range of non-qualification activities they will be involved in through the two years at the College. In addition, students will be partake in subject specific inductions; these will include support and guidance from subject teams regarding their studies which will enable them to make a rapid and effective start to Year 12.

Returning students do not need to send their birth certificate or GCSE results.

The College will administer the discretionary 16-19 Bursary. If you or your parent/carers are in receipt of benefits, it is important that you apply for Student Support, as you may be eligible for free meals and a clothing allowance. In addition, you may be eligible to apply for financial support with Educational Visits. Please return the Bursary Form plus supporting paperwork to the Principal’s PA ([email protected])
