This week is National Apprenticeship Week. The theme of National Apprenticeship Week 2021 is ‘Build the Future’ and looks at how apprenticeships aim to provide young people with a wealth of skills and knowledge to shape and equip them to meet the challenges of the future world of work.
We encourage all students, parents and staff to consider how apprenticeships build future careers. Covering over 600 sectors including accountancy, coding, construction, engineering, economics, HR, law, management, nursing, police constable, quantity surveying and software tester there is an apprenticeship for everyone.
As we celebrate National Careers Week we will be emailing and sharing resources to budding apprenticeships in Years 7, 8 and 9 and webinars, presentations and links to vacancies including higher and degree apprenticeships to students in Years 10 -13 promoting awareness of future opportunities and the development of excellent career management.
