Last week LFCD robotics teams took part in a regional competition hosted by North Liverpool Academy.
Eight schools took part, each with multiple teams and the Landau teams did very well landing 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.
Team A won the Judges award, adding onto their Excellence Award won in the recent Nottingham tournament.
The tournament organisers were extremely impressed by their sixty two pages long detailed engineering book and their strategy poster.
Team B & C also did well in the competition and their scores in the various competitions allowed them to rank among the top 10% in the country.
Only the top 60 out of 300+ UK Robotics teams are invited to Nationals, and all 3 Landau teams are currently placed in the top 30!
This means that all 3 teams have qualified for UK Nationals which takes place in Telford on the 24th and 25th of April.
Well done to all the students involved and huge thanks to Mr Armah for his dedicated leadership of computing and robotics.
