Staff and students at Landau Forte College Derby again celebrated fantastic A-level results.
Over a third of grades achieved by students at Landau Forte College were A*/A, which is a wonderful achievement and testament to the hard work and commitment of our talented students and our exceptional staff team. The average grade achieved by students in the Sixth Form was grade B.
Staff at Landau Forte College Derby worked tirelessly to ensure students had all the support they needed as they sat the final exams of their school career.
The College has so much to celebrate, with so many top grades being awarded, many students getting their first-choice places at universities or on an apprenticeship, as well as those who are entering the workplace.
Notable achievements include:
Isla Sparks achieved A* Maths, A* Further Maths, A* Computer Science and will study Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Bath
Talal Mubashar achieved A* Maths, A* Chemistry, A Physics. This is an incredible achievement as Talal only joined Landau in Year 13, after relocating to the UK from Pakistan. Talal will start a Teaching Assistant role at Landau Forte College at the beginning of the new academic year.
Deven Walters achieved A* Maths, A* Further Maths, A Computer Science and will study Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Bath
Bilall Amin achieved A* Maths, A Chemistry, A Physics and has secured a place at the University of Nottingham to study Mechanical Engineering
Ben Sarosi achieved A* Maths, A* Further Maths, A Physics and is in the process of securing a Degree Level Apprenticeship
Samir Patel achieved A* Maths, A Further Maths, A Physics and will study Aerospace Engineering at the University of Nottingham
Xenia Karim achieved A* Biology, A Chemistry, A Geography and has secured a place at the University of Liverpool to study Medicine.
Chyahm Gobalakrishnan achieved A* Maths, A Chemistry, A Physics is will go on to study Mechanical engineering at Loughborough University
