The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is an amazing opportunity for young people to develop new skills, challenge themselves and contribute to communities. We have enjoyed welcoming a new cohort of participants this term, who have started their journey toward achieving their awards at Bronze, Silver and “new for this year” Gold level.
In November, we hosted a special event to celebrate the effort and dedication of our students who have completed their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Ms Brannick presented our successful participants with their certificates and pin badges. Congratulations – we are incredibly proud of all our students who have achieved their award.
We are also pleased to announce that we have secured a grant to purchase new expedition group kit and training bursaries for our leaders. We are grateful to the DofE for making this funding available to us as we prepare for the expedition adventures of 2025 and beyond!
