Students from Year 13 were invited to the House of Lords to participate in the All Party Engineering Group’s debate on driverless vehicles. The aim of this innovative parliamentary group, chaired by Professor the Lord Mair, is to bring together schools and ambitious young people with parliamentarians and the engineering profession, with a specific focus on getting more young people to join the industry. Our students represented LFCD so well and had a very memorable experience participating in such a high level debate.
