At LFCD, we really enjoyed celebrating the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. It’s crucial that our students understand their history and always remember and understand the importance of VE Day.
We decorated the College in red, white and blue, our students participated in remembrance activities during tutor time, we had afternoon tea in the Restaurant and held a 1940s themed bake off. A lovely day was had by all but most importantly we were able to ensure our students understand the importance of this historic day.
