Across the Landau Forte Charitable Trust we want our students to have every source of support when it comes to their learning. That’s why we want to highlight the Derby Adult Learning Service (DALS) – Derby City Council’s adult education provider – and their work to help families and school staff with a new and exciting range of free sessions.
DALS offers sessions on helping your child with their maths and English home-schooling, as well as supporting your mental wellbeing. The sessions are available online and are designed to ensure parents and carers are able to support their child’s learning at home.
In addition, DALS offers sessions on Lockdown-Home Learning Tips for Parents, and Home Learning Tips for Parents with Children with Additional Needs. These are designed to help parents and carers find good educational resources and creative activities to help their children learn. You can access these courses using the buttons below:
