Two of our Year 13 students were lucky enough to attend an International Women’s Day event which celebrated Derbyshire’s inspirational female General Practitioners. The GPs shared their leadership journeys and provided hope, optimism and encouragement to all present. Our students, who are looking to secure careers in medicine, were able to network with some incredible female role models, ask questions and take advice and guidance from all present at the prestigious event.
