Well done to our Sixth Form student, Matilda Wiggins, who received a Highly Commended award in the international Foyles Young Poet of the Year competition 2024. This is an incredible achievement for Matilda and reflects their immense talent as a creative writer. Matilda was presented with their award at a prestigious event held at The British Library. The Foyles Young Poet of the Year award is incredibly competitive. This year 17,000 entries were received from young people from 113 countries including Bolivia, Madagascar, Sri Lanka and Azerbaijan. We are so proud of Matilda and all they have achieved during their time at Landau, we are also incredibly thankful for the time and support they have given to supporting our younger students in developing their creative talents.
