We offer a coherent two-year programme of learning, tailored to meet individual needs, with A Level subjects offered from within a broad range of areas, including:

You will have the opportunity to take part in enrichment activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, Sport, Performing Arts and International Visits.
Sixth form Tutor groups are comprised of students from both Years 12 and 13.
Your examination success is particularly important as it opens the doors for you into Higher Education and high quality opportunities in the work place. Landau Forte College Derby has a sustained record of achievement with overall pass rates of students being consistently high.
A curriculum pathway is designed with you, to support your progression into Higher Education or directly into employment and apprenticeships. The range of courses offered will enable a flexible approach to gaining your qualifications.
As the result of ongoing reflection on specifications, outcomes and the needs of individual students, the College expects that the vast majority of students follow a three subject pathway from the start of Year 12. However, a small cohort of high-achieving students, who accepted the offer of a four subject pathway, may sit AS examination(s) in all their A Level subjects.
