In some subjects students will complete a Non-Examined Assessment (NEA) which contributes towards the overall assessment grade.
Students will work on the NEA in their sessions and this will be internally assessed (marked by staff within the College) when complete.
Students will be informed of their NEA mark when it has been internally assessed.
Students are to be reminded that any internal marks are subject to external moderation and may change during this process.
Students will have the chance to appeal their mark if they feel that it does not represent a true reflection of the quality of their NEA. All appeals must be made in writing to the examinations officer. Full details can be found in the College policy on Reviews of Marking.
