Year 12 Survey Year 12, In order that we may reflect and seek to improve what we offer sixth form students next year and beyond, we would be very grateful if you would complete the following short survey. Many thanks! DrD and the Sixth Form Team. This year, we have hosted a number of ‘Non-Qualification Activities’, mainly on Wednesday afternoons. These have included presentations from various universities and apprenticeship providers, alumni, quizzes, a creativity task, input on forced marriage/honour based abuse, religion and ethics, The Ted Baker Diploma, the Lessons in Hate workshops, and Ready Steady Cook events. Question 1 - Please state any additional presentations/topics you would like to see included next year?As you are aware, there has been a whole-college focus this year on Oracy, (defined as the ability to articulate one’s ideas/opinions and engage with others through spoken language). In particular, we have discussed the three Vs – Vocab, Volume and Validity. In Sixth Form, you have specifically taken part in Miss Clapp’s Wednesday afternoon session in the Theatre, the Oracy Extension/Debate sessions with Mr Hutchinson, two series of subject Vivas, regular tutor time discussions and the recent Religious Affairs/medical ethics workshops with Mr Butler and Mr Mahalski.Question 2 - How would you consider your oracy now compared to the start of the year?
